When she had a full classroom, moms and kids hoped their second-graders would land in her class. Why? The puppets. She had a reputation for getting the children to understand principles with adorable puppets and generally having a FUN classroom. She won teacher of the year.
Children LOVE puppets. Puppets capture the imagination of young minds. Immediately, when a puppet is speaking, children see a character come to life. Puppets encourage imaginative play, listening skills and hey, they’re FUN!
